01. Do you travel outside of your local area?TOP
Yes, we are available for travel both domestically and internationally. Our current pricing includes travel of up to two hours from Orlando, FL. Travel outside of two hours from Orlando may require an overnight stay and additional travel cost. Please contact us if you would like a custom travel quote.
02. Am I able to print the photos anywhere I want?TOP
You sure can, but unless it is a professional lab, we don’t recommend it. Professional labs have far superior printing equipment then your local kiosk, Walgreens, CVS, etc. You may not think there is much of a difference, but seeing two prints side by side makes the differences very clear. We do supply a print release form that allows you to do this.
03. Do you have a second photographer?TOP
We offer a second photographer option if that is one of your requirements. To keep our cost low we do not initially include a second photographer in our collections, and we would rather have you make that decision rather than forcing it upon you.
04. How long until I am able to view my photographs?TOP
Post processing takes approximately four weeks from the event date. We strive to get you your photos as soon as possible, however we do not want to rush processing as this can have an effect on quality. Certain products such as custom album design, coffee table books or other custom products may take longer to produce.
05. Do you collect sales tax?TOP
The Florida Department of Revunue requires us to have to collect 7% Florida sales tax on the quoted package amount. Not our rules…and they get really mad when you don’t follow their rules.
06. Are you insured?TOP
Yes, Fixed Focus Photography is insured for General Liability up to one million dollars and we are insured for Errors and Omissions coverage as well. Please check with your venue to see if this is a requirement for vendors. We can provide a certificate of insurability on request from the venue.
07. Do you require a contract?TOP
We do require a contract for services. This contract is to make sure that every detail of your day is clearly written out and to clearly outline what our services provide to you.
08. Do you belong to any organizations?TOP
Yes we do, we below to Professional Photographers of America or PPA for short. This is a non profit organization dedicated to the craft of photography through education of both clients and photographers alike. They have a very high standard of the photography profession and we love being held to that standard.
09. Do you offer albums?TOP
We offer a number of different album options. Please contact us for any special album requests and we can supply a custom quote.
10. Do you require a deposit or retainer?TOP
For weddings, we require a 50% non refundable retainer to hold the event date. This amount is part of your investment and secures your day to insure that we do not book it for someone else. The balance of the chosen collection is due four weeks prior to the event date. For portraits, there is no retainer required, just a minimum investment requirement.
11. Do you really offer a guarantee?TOP
Yes we do! Hard to believe isn’t it? We believe that if you are not happy with your images, than we aren’t happy. It wouldn’t seem fair to penalize you for that. The only exceptions to this are custom products such as albums and canvas wraps. If you order one of these products, you probably already love the images so we have never had an issue with these.
12. What is your creative fee for portraits?TOP
Creative investment starts at $100 for portraits plus product. There is no minimum purchase requirement and we offer a DVD of digital files option as well.
